Thank you to all who are giving generously and working hard to end hunger in the Bolingbrook Region.

During the holidays, The Presbyterian Women’s Group oversaw the collection and distribution of 20 baskets of food to families at Jamie McGee Elementary School. The baskets included all that families need for a bountiful Thanksgiving Dinner, including a 15 lb turkey!

Then Scouting America Crew 75, our oldest Boy Scout group, organized a food drive throughout the local neighborhood. This drive increased awareness of hunger in our region and helped our neighbors to share their love through food. They collected an estimated 1,000 lbs of food to be distributed through the church’s Micropantry!

In addition, many participated in our annual Angel Tree Drive, ensuring that local families had a joyous Christmas Morning.

Thank you to all of you who donated and Happy New Year!
