Did you know that FPCD supports hungry families in our region?
In addition to our new Micro-Food Pantry, FPCD has been partnering with Jamie McGee School to support families facing food insecurity for many years. Our Women’s Bible Study and Young Adults’ Group partner together to create food baskets for 8 families at Jamie McGee Elementary. We do this three times a year–at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
You can get involved by bringing food items to FPCD during office hours or on Sunday mornings. See our list of items that are needed for food baskets here.
Sunday, November 19 will be collecting a special offering during the 10am service to support the needs of our community. Bring your non-perishable items to church and will we collect them at the front of the Sanctuary as we pray specifically for those who are hungry in our community. Thank you for your generosity!
