There are so many beautiful ways to get involved and experience Advent and Christmas at First Presbyterian Church of DuPage. Whether you have been attending all your life or if you are new to FPCD, you are welcome at all our worship services and events. Worship and activities here at the church have a relaxed atmosphere where all are invited to come as we are.
Worship
Join us Sundays during Advent for the new sermon series “Hope Over Fear.” Based on materials from A Sanctified Art, Pastor KJ will be inviting us to consider those in the Scriptures who were afraid but found hope in God through their fear. May God bless us as we too find hope even when we are afraid.

- Sunday, December 14: Luke 1:26-39 – Advent Theme of Joy: Welcome new members and stay after church for our annual Christmas Dinner
- Saturday, December 20 at NOON: Blue Christmas Service
- Sunday, December 21: Matthew 1:18-25 – Advent Theme of Love
- Wednesday, December 24 at 7 PM: Luke 2:1-20 – Candlelight Service of Music and Scripture

- Decorating for the Holidays or Supporting Families through the Angel Tree giving
- Saturday, December 13 — Help Clean the Church and Prepare for Christmas Events at Stewardship Saturday
- Saturdays through Advent: Join the FPCD Christmas Choir
- Participate in our special holiday giving program to replace the electronic sign
Fellowship
Are you looking for community? FPCD is a diverse Christian Community that emphasizes Inter-generational, Inter-cultural, Community-based ministry and worship. All are welcome here!
- Do you have kids ages 4-11? Bring them on Friday, December 5 to Parents’ Night Out. Pre-registration is required for this event
- Get into the Holiday Spirit with the Swingset Big Band! Tickets are only $10 for adults and free for kids under twelve
- Come to the annual Christmas Dinner. Bring a dish to share if you are able. Or just come and enjoy the food and fellowship
