Join us Saturday May 31st for the first Hike & Bike of 2025!
This month we will be exploring the Greene Valley Nature Preserve. The trail is crushed limestone and features both wooded and open areas. Meet at 9:30am at the most northern section of the park, above 75th Street. We are meeting in the open parking area, close to bathrooms and multiple picnic shelters. To arrive, turn North on Greene Road from 75th Street and then make a right into the Greene Valley Forest Preserve at the sign. Go through the dog park lot, which will curve to your left. You will soon see more parking spaces as well as the bathrooms and picnic shelters to your right.
Walkers can pause at the Green Barn Historical Site and loop the north end of the park which includes the dog park. Bikers can travel several different loops to make a 3, 6, or 8 mile loop.
