It is with deepest sympathy that we inform you of the death of Deacon Joyce Wick. Joyce was 94 and surrounded by loved ones when she passed peacefully on September 7, 2026.
Joyce was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of DuPage where she will be lovingly remembered for her deep faith and dedicated service to the community. She is survived by by her children; Ralph (Michelle) Wick, Jr., Jeff Wick, Rick Langheld, Linda (Mark) Surges, John (Janice) Wick, Jennifer (Mike) Duban, and Melody (Bert) Schaff; her grandchildren Rick (Christy) Langheld, Amy (Bob) Bartlett, Kellie Jasculca, Christie (Kerrick) Meyer, James (Stephanie) Johnson, Brad Rigsby, Shawn Wick, William, Kenneth (Danielle) and Cody Schaff; 15 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Lindner and Delia Weist; her beloved husband, Ralph K. Wick, Sr.; and her eldest daughter, Susan Langheld.
A memorial service in Joyce’s honor will be held on October 17, 2026 at the First Presbyterian Church of DuPage, 180 N Weber Road, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Visitation at 12:00pm, Service at 1:30pm and a Luncheon to follow.
